The Velaslavasay Panorama welcomes the UCLA-based women’s choir Superdevoiche, here to present selected polished gems from a repertoire of over 65 harmonically dense and rhythmically dynamic masterpieces of Bulgarian choral music under the direction of renowned choral conductor and vocalist Tzvetanka Varimezova. In addition to showcasing veteran and committed members of the choir, the evening's program will feature the sublime Trio Varimezova - mother and daughters melting souls with their blend of richly ornamented Bulgarian ballads.

Between performances the choir will host a fundraising Garden Party and Silent Auction, open to all concertgoers, with complimentary Balkan delicacies, traditional Bulgarian brandy and other beverages served on a donation basis. Audience members are invited to stay after the first show, or arrive early for the second show to enjoy the reception and to participate in bidding for the Silent Auction, a unique opportunity to win a special occasion serenade, Bulgarian antiques, unusual instruments, artisan jewellery, fine art, gift sets and more! For more information about Superdevoiche, visit www.myspace.com/superdevoiche

Proceeds will benefit the group's August 2010 travel to Bulgaria for the Quinquennial Festival of Folk Music at Koprivshtitsa, alongside over 150 international participating singers.
