Step right up, folks! Introducing the glorious magical trainwreck that is Christopher Wonder; the degenerate son of PT Barnum, Andy Kaufman, Evil Kinevil and Tom Waits. Presenting to you ----The Wonder Show----, the world’s only Children’s show for adults; a candy store full of circus, magic, punk and vaudeville.
Recreating the past while giving you a glimpse of the future, Christopher Wonder pushes the boundaries of what’s acceptable, never taking himself too seriously—walking a fine line between the beautiful and the absurd.
Venture into the deep dark night to the Velaslavasay Panorama for an evening of magic, ragtime and grotesque puppetry hosted by Christopher Wonder, featuring Mista Ragtime and Rasputin's Marionettes.

Christopher Wonder is a graduate of the Chavez College of Prestidigitation. He has performed in 15 countries and will bring a spooky twist on his magic.
John Reed-Torres (Mista Ragtime) is a self-taught ragtime pianist and composer from South Central, Los Angeles with a deep connection to the genre who describes ragtime as “a union of Black / Indigenous rhythms and tonality, Western European harmonic theories, and late 19th/early 20th century musical formats, to create a rollicking and infectious, almost spiritually melancholic yet hopefully optimistic dance music. It is a musical example of a melting pot."
Matt Scott began his career in puppetry in 1996 at the famous Bob Baker Marionette Theater. Four years later, he began to build and perform marionettes as Rasputin’s Marionettes. His premiere work of “Freakshow Follies” debuted in 2001, solidifying a grotesque and unique take on traditional marionette shows. From foul-mouthed adult monologues, to wanton burlesque dames, and shocking holiday characters, Rasputin’s Marionettes has pushed the envelope of what adult puppetry can showcase to shocked and amused audiences.
