A free festival with puppet shows, live music, magic, balloons, food trucks, sunshine, special guests, and much, much more—all celebrating the life and legacy of Bob Baker, founder of the Bob Baker Marionette Theater!The Velaslavasay Panorama, in partnership with OneHouse Arts (a contemporary art school for kids), will present a booth on Slovakian Eastertime traditions.
Coloring with Forest Lawn Museum ! Bubbles with Megan the Bubblologist ! Performances by Pacific Opera Project and by Children’s Fairyland Master Puppeteer Randal Metz ! And more!

Join us at the Velaslavasay Panorama for an open house event to welcome spring with traditional and adventitious Slovakian activities with members of the Slovakian community in Los Angeles.
A theatrical painted backdrop sets the tone for springtime in the gardens of the Velaslavasay Panorama as distant music and field recordings from Bratislava play in the background; tour the exhibits, celebrate Veľká noc (Easter), decorate an Easter bush, witness a demonstration on kraslica—a painted, dyed or otherwise decorated blown egg, and adorn foliage with friends at Eastertime.
