FULL SNOW MOON !
In collaboration with Metro Art Presents, Bob Baker Marionette Theater invites folks and friends of all ages to explore the wonderful world of Bob Baker's Los Angeles, fully online for the first time at www.BobBakerDay.com.
Digitally launching from historic Union Station TODAY and viewable for one week only, the 7th Annual Bob Baker Day exists as an interactive digital map of the roads and networks that connect Los Angeles and connect BBMT to collaborators and friends.
For our contribution to the festival this year, the Velaslavasay Panorama partners with Shenyang Visual Archive, to give a tour of Shengjing Panorama, the historic train stations La Grande Station (Los Angeles, 1893-1939) and Shenyang Station (1910 to present), along with a garden visit.
With this year's Bob Baker Day, fun arises at every turn as viewers navigate an interactive map with locations spanning from the Santa Monica Pier to the Pasadena Playhouse (with stops at the Old Town Music Hall, LA Zoo, The Yard, The Music Center, 3D Space, LA State Historic Park, Olvera Street, and many more!). Containing puppet shows, performances, activities, an online museum of puppetry, and community contributions, Bob Baker Day 2021 promises fun for all through an online carnival of inspiration and imagination.
