Bob Baker Day 2019

Join us for the 5th Annual Bob Baker Day celebrating Bob Baker's 95th birthday! We invite all Angelenos, visitors, friends, and supporters to celebrate this day of Bob Baker as “imagination dwells” at Los Angeles State Historic Park in the form of a whimsical Carnival, sponsored by The Office of Councilmember Gil Cedillo, City of Los Angeles, with generous support provided by Bedrock.LA!  Enjoy the festivities with the whole family, including live music and entertainment, puppet-making workshops with the Los Angeles Guild of Puppetry, Carnival midway games, educational and exhibition booths from the local art community,  food trucks, walk around entertainment and more! 

The Velaslavasay Panorama will attempt to build a time-traveling, intercontinental train with all the essentials to survive a trip to Shenyang, China and 1920's Los Angeles, and we need your help!
