Balboa Park Border Trolley Tours
A Project in San Diego With Parkeology

Between The Plaza de Panama and San Ysidro
Saturdays: June 10th, 17th, & 24th, 2017 - 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Free; Reservations Required

Saturdays in June, Parkeology will provide a free public tour between Balboa Park and border territories of San Ysidro in San Diego, California. Live storytelling & audio recordings will trace the humans, fauna, flora & materials that have migrated through the region over the years.

Border Peepshows will be on display in the Plaza de Panama in Balboa Park, co-created with the Velaslavasay Panorama. These mobile sculptures will display scenes of the Tiajuana/San Diego border as it has evolved over the past 100 years.

The Minnow Show! Episode #3
Masks & Animation

We'll watch a variety of colorfully animated films from local Los Angeles animators. After a variety of animated fun, artist Anna Tanner will lead a workshop on mask making for all creatures. This will be followed by a colorful garden party amongst the outdoor grounds of the Velaslavasay Panorama.
