Li Xianglan

---A Message From The Shenyang Visual Archive---

Li Xianglan was a legendary figure in China through the 1930s and 40s. Her inspiring rise to fame began with her youth in the colorful city of Mukden; a city rich in many legendary figures to inspire her including mighty warlords, gifted musicians, and famed Japanese directors, not to mention the city's own vibrant atmosphere.

"Li Xianglan in Mukden" is the Shenyang Visual Archive's first documentary film. It embodies our historical vision and three main goals: to record, preserve, and share Shenyang's unique figures, locations, and stories with the world.

We look forward to meeting you all soon at the Velaslavasay Panorama so we can share the history of China, Shenyang, and Li Xianglan.
