The Velaslavasay Panorama hosts a celebration of Slovak and Czech Culture & Heritage in Los Angeles with a daytime gathering, featuring dance by Anna Hradsky, Karička, & Podkovička and music by Lenka Morávková on her unique instrument from glass, Bohemian Cristal Instrument. Intermittent performances by Bohemian Cristal virtuosa Lenka Morávková will occur throughout the first half of the day (12-2pm) and traditional Slovak dances by adults' group Karička and children's group Podkovička will occur throughout the afternoon (3-6pm).

The Velaslavasay Panorama will offer plants from the gardens for purchase on a Name-Your-Price basis (starting at $5.00 per plant), as well as new additions to the used books section of the gift shop, and traditional Slovak & Czech crafts, music and gifts will be sold by performers in the gardens alongside seasonal Slovakian refreshments. This event occurs in coincidence with the West Adams Open Studios event happening in the region from 12-4pm. Although the Panorama Viewing Hall is closed for renovation, The Nova Tuskhut, gardens and giftshop of the Velaslavasay Panorama will be open for visitors. This presentation is brought to you in part by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors through the Los Angeles County Arts Commission and the Velaslavasay Panorama Enthusiast Society.
