Marco Fusi is a violinist, violist, and viola d’amore player from Italy, currently on a tour of the United States. He has studied with Dimitrios Polisoidis, Ernst Kovacic and Jeanne-Marie Conquer. Fusi was a member of the Lucerne Festival Academy from 2007 to 2012, under the artistic and musical direction of Pierre Boulez, and has collaborated with Ensemble Algoritmo (Rome), Interface (Frankfurt), Proton (Bern), Linea (Strasbourg), Phoenix (Basel), l’Arsenale (Treviso), MotoPerpetuo (NYC), Ecce (Boston), Handwerk (Köln). In 2012, Fusi's complete recording of John Cage’s Freeman Etudes was released by Stradivarius.

Our Polar Film Club forges on with a classic tale of life among the Inuit in Nanook of the North, what the Library of Congress has deemed a "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant" documentary. Preceding this feature are two artistic short films: The Idea of North by Rebecca Baron (in attendance) and Untitled (Ross Ice Shelf Antarctica) by Connie Samaras (in attendance).
