For four evenings in September 2020, the lobby of the Velaslavasay Panorama featured the Union Square Florist Shop. Passers-by observed the nocturnal workings of a robust floral syndicate and its associates along with the botanical artistry of Master Florist Gladys Chantrelle Peckinpah and the sounds of K-FLOR on the AM radio.
 

Specializing in celebratory bouquets,  memorial arrangements, funeral sprays and floral headdresses, the Union Square Florist Shop can still be reached by telephone at (213)268-4495.

Why say anything when you can “say it with flowers”?

The latest issue of the Floral Syndicate Society Gazette features a photograph of the prize winning headdress “Un Bel Dia” created by Gladys Chantrelle Peckinpah for this year's Les Dames Bal Masque. Additional news items include information on the recent Gladiolus Glut, advice from a French Florist, notice of a Jewel Heist conducted in La Jolla along with other information and advertisements relevant to today’s floral industry.
