This month marks the combined Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Regional Festival of Puppeteers of America, meeting in the Catskills of New York. For those who are bound to the Pacific for the month, holdfast to instances of puppetry in the city of LA. So, we present:

Join the Velaslavasay Panorama Enthusiast Society and DJ Lance Rock (Yo Gabba Gabba!) for a special screening of this extolled documentary about the life and work of Caroll Spinney, who has been Sesame Street's Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch since 1969. The film will be preceded with an introduction by DJ Lance Rock (Lance Robertson) who will give an overview of his work in children’s television and share some of his favorite sketches and clips from well-known animators and character actors. DJ Lance Rock is well known for his own contributions to childrens' imagination and confidence through the characters, songs and hi-jinx of the award-winning Yo Gabba Gabba!
