Este Fin de Semana - An Outdoor Invitation for VPES Members

Dear V.P.E.S. Members and Supporters of the Velaslavasay Panorama -

This coming weekend the Union Theatre is beseiged by an itinerant circus - ¡Circo Escalofriante! - an evening street view display on Friday and Saturday night, open to the general public from a distance.

For a small limited group, the circus will be conducting a private outdoor screening in the back yard of the Velaslavasay Panorama for a few lost souls.

As an ongoing supporter of the Velaslavasay Panorama, The Ringleader cordially invites you (and potentially one other guest) to attend this outdoor event.

On both Friday 10/23 and Saturday 10/24 The public tableau will begin on the sidewalk at 7:00pm. Arrival by 7:15pm at the latest is suggested. Check-in proceedure for invited guests will begin at 8:00pm. 

Masks are required - costumes highly encouraged.

Please send an RSVP request by replying to this message and indicate if you will bring a guest (or only yourself) and whether you would like to join the outdoor screening on Friday 10/23 or Saturday 10/24.

If a reservation is available, additional instructions will be sent to you.

Abandonado durante décadas, el Union Theatre ahora está habitado por un grupo de antiguos payasos y artistas de circo que alguna vez fueron. Se pueden observar luces parpadeantes y actividad nefasta desde la acera.

Los transeúntes pueden mirar los restos en el interior mientras conducen por la calle 24 o estacionar en el área y pasar por el teatro vacío por la noche.

Abandoned for decades, the Union Theatre is now inhabited by a group of erstwhile clowns and once-has-been circus performers. Flickering lights and nefarious activity may be observed from the sidewalk.

Passers-by may peer at the wreckage inside while driving by on 24th Street or park in the area and walk past the vacant theater in the evening.

Maintain a distance of 6 feet from anyone else viewing the situation in the old Union Theatre lobby storefront. All are required to wear a mask when outside in public. Street parking can be found in the area or a 24/7 public paid lot is available at the corner of 25th & Hoover.
