In Wake of Waxing Light

For many long hours my dear Effulgence of the North (2007 - 2017) has resided on view, but today she is officially laid down for some future unsuspecting person or place -- the newest member of panoramas past.

Perhaps some would like to give in her honor, for her careful preservation into the future. Now is as good a time as any to join the league of the Velaslavasay Panorama Enthusiast Society (V.P.E.S.), a membership group that promotes the archival works, public programs, immersive gardens and exhibits, educational projects, collaborative undertakings and sustainability efforts of the Velaslavasay Panorama.

Although the hour of the Effulgence has past, the next year foresees a new addition to the Panorama Viewing Hall and the first ever trans-continental panorama collaboration -- Shengjing Panorama, a phenomenal view of China in the early 20th Century. For those who are uninterested in joining a club that would have you as a member, consider becoming a supporter of the Shengjing Panorama, a project that grows in excellence in respect to its funders. As for the year of the Rooster, we say arrivederci.
